Boom Lift & Scissor Lift Inspections in Illinois
Onsite mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) inspection requests for boom lifts and scissor lifts at commercial sites.
Plan your equipment inspection
Identify each lift by manufacturer, model, serial number and configuration. Include prior reports, known issues and the commercial site where the equipment can be safely operated. Self-propelled boom and scissor lifts are distinct from vehicle-mounted bucket trucks.
Components to discuss in the inspection scope
- Visible structure, platform and guardrails
- Accessible pins, connections and applicable elevating components
- Ground and platform controls and emergency lowering arrangements
- Visible hydraulic components and applicable safety devices
- Functional checks within the agreed scope and documented observed deficiencies
SFTI confirms the equipment, access, inspection scope and documentation before booking. Load or proof testing, repairs and operator training are separate requests. Share any additional customer requirements before scheduling.
Dealers welcome
Equipment dealers and fleet owners can request a single-unit visit or discuss an inventory at a suitable commercial location. Identify each unit or item and its available records.
Fleet and dealer pricing available
Ask about pricing for multiple units inspected at one location or recurring fleet and dealer work. Send the equipment list, quantities, location and desired schedule. Pricing and any discount are confirmed in your quote.
Work directly with the owner
The owner personally provides SFTI inspection and training services. Coordinate the equipment, visit and documentation directly with the person performing the work.
