Carry Deck Crane Inspections in Illinois
Owner-performed onsite inspection service for compact industrial carry deck cranes at commercial facilities, equipment yards and project sites.
Plan the inspection for your actual equipment
Carry deck cranes combine lifting equipment with a compact mobile carrier. Give SFTI the crane identification and the way the machine is used so the inspection can be planned for its actual configuration. Annual or periodic inspection requests are reviewed against the equipment requirements and agreed scope.
Components to discuss in the inspection scope
- Boom structure, accessible connections, pins and visible condition
- Outriggers or stabilizers, when fitted, and their operating condition
- Controls, safety devices and functional operation within the agreed scope
- Applicable hoist, wire rope, hook and load-handling components
- Visible hydraulic components and documented observed deficiencies
Inspection components, access and functional checks are confirmed for the model and manufacturer requirements. Send any customer-specific requirements before the appointment.
Dealers welcome
Equipment dealers can request inspections for individual units or a multi-unit inventory at a commercial yard. Send the unit list, equipment data plates, previous reports and availability windows. SFTI will confirm the inspection scope and documentation for each unit, plus scheduling and travel for the visit.
What to send for your quote
Send make, model, serial number, capacity, data-plate photos, previous reports and known defects. Describe attachments, operating configuration and any site access requirements. Arrange a commercial location with room for the agreed checks and equipment operation.
Work directly with the owner
The owner personally provides SFTI inspection and training services. Discuss the equipment, site arrangements and documentation directly with the person performing the work.
Service area
Joliet-based mobile service with a primary target of approximately three hours driving from Joliet. Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan projects are reviewed by actual address; more distant visits are available by arrangement.
Before booking
Does a carry deck inspection include load testing?
Load or proof testing is a separate scope. State any requested test, customer documentation requirements and equipment configuration before booking. An inspection request does not automatically include repairs, operator training or every additional test.
